This summer, my ministry will be even more focused on the Next Generation of Hanmaum Church. To get there, I have plans for summer that I want to share with you.
Meetings with Next Generations: Like I said in the last Pastor’s bulletin, I am planning to begin Bible study and consultation sessions for individuals or small groups who belong to the Next generation (From 11 years old to those who consider themselves as next generation).
For those who showed interest, I will reach out to you individually, talk to each one of you, hear your story, decide on the subjects of interest and also the time and dates of our rendezvous.
Half-Day Retreat: On May 20th (Saturday), We will gather with sister Erin Kim (we all met her during last year’s Family retreat at Toah Nipi). If you want to attend. Please fill out the form I sent out earlier. In case you did not receive it, please let me know or use the QR code.
Pulpit Ministry: From the first Sunday of June to the first Sunday of July, the professor Sung Ho Ahn from Gordon College will come to our church for Sunday worship sermons. He will preach the necessary messages to our English congregation.
Children’s House Church Shepherds Conference: From July 13 to 15th, the conference will be held in Orlando. We invite you to pray for our children who are attending the conference. Please pray that we can raise the children Mokja up and nourish them spiritually.
Arise Retreat: We don’t have a definite date yet, but usually is held on the 2nd week of August.
Celebration of the God’s Word for All Congregations: We are preparing for this festival where we will host the pastor Young Joo Kim who serves “Chun Ju Overflowing Joy Church”. The date is from August 25th to 27th (or from September 1st to 3rd). The place is TBA.
And last but not least, I have not explicitly written here, but we also have plans for fun as well^^. We have for you a series of small events to fill your summer with f un!
