From movies, dramas, music, and food to technology and traditional culture... Korea's influence is positively impacting the entire world. I personally experience this positive influence where I live. When I meet people on the street or at stores and they find out I'm Korean, many of them want to engage in conversations and express their interest in various aspects of Korean culture. There are people who share that they also appreciate different aspects of Korean culture. The children’s school friends express a desire to try Korean food, and when visiting Korea, they ask for various items to be brought back. There is no country in the world that antagonizes Korea. Korea's influence has never spread so positively worldwide throughout its history. This era is an opportunity given to our nation by God.
I have been praying and preparing for our English ministry for a long time. Some may question why we should engage in English ministry when there are already many American churches. In the United States, there are undoubtedly many people from other ethnicities who like Korea and want to join gatherings of Koreans. There are certainly people who can be reached under the name of a Korean church in places not reached by the influence of American churches. There is a special grace that God has poured out on Korea. I pray that the spiritual heritage will be passed down to our second generation. I pray for the establishment of a church centered around the second generation inheriting this spiritual heritage. We need to move forward into the world with both wings of English and Korean culture. This is our starting point. As the fruits of soul salvation emerge, our English-speaking congregation will gradually become a multicultural church.
There are many souls that God wants to save through us. I hope that our second generation can be a bridge connecting the world and Hanmaum church. The second generation should prepare, considering the Korean language, culture, and spiritual heritage as blessings. Then God will use it for His purpose.
