For the past week every morning, about 50 church members joined together both in-person and online to pray for each other. The children, rubbing their tired eyes, came as well. There was even a child who said that it was the first time he/she had actually felt like he/she was talking to God while praying. Looking through the prayer requests, I could also see that there were many that God had answered.
We did the prayer meeting, sharing words from the entire book of Philippians under the topic of ‘Love, Prayer, and Joy.’ Through prayer and petition (Philippians 4:6), we asked that the Lord’s will become our will and for Jesus’s heart to be poured down upon us. Thank you God for sending your grace upon us.
How thankful I am for our Jesus who stays with us and makes us one. How thankful I am that we were given time to become united in Jesus through love and be filled with joy. How grateful I am that we were able to take a step closer to obeying your word in John 15 which says “love each other”. Thank you Lord for letting us taste Your promise; that if we act as such, You will give us joy.
