Currently, the Tree of Life (TOL) congregation is composed primarily of young Christians. They have a lot to learn and contemplate; thus, we have been praying that they develop their world views based on biblical teachings. For this, we have been planning on online seminars with professional lecturers outside of our church. Last year we had the pleasure of having professor Sung-ho Ahn from Gordon College. This year, we are actively seeking similar opportunities from other lecturers and have been in contact with them. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more opportunities to host professional lecturers online have risen; we want to be on the side of benefitting from it.
However, despite that online lecturers are more available now, TOL is still small in number and the lecturers are finding it hard to make time for us. In addition, considering the small number of TOL’s constituents, the participation of everyone becomes very important. We are seeking God’s help and guidance.
COVID-19 is restricting the scope of TOL’s activities. Please pray together that TOL exploits such a situation and uses it to its advantage.
TOL has been offering its own Sunday worship service in the main sanctuary. Thanks to God, we hear many confessions from TOL saying they have experienced the Holy Spirit during the service. We also feel a different vibe from the worship service than we first started. Please pray that the TOL can experience the living God and the essence of the Gospel. Especially, please pray for Byung Wook Son Mokja and Ji Min Yeo Mokyeo.
Many sacrifices of love and hope are needed for a new life to be born and raised. Now is the time to give special prayers, love, and hope for our newly born TOL.
