“We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.” Romans 8:22-23
God, the Father, the source of all the good things,
Many are trying very hard to help those in need and hold on to what is good. Your image planted inside them is brightening up the world in darkness like little lights. God, the source of all good things, we pray that our eyes are open to see the goodness of God from the little lights. Father, I pray that you pour heaven’s hope and value onto the little lights that they will shine like heaven’s light.
Father, the sound of the world in pain is getting closer and clearer. The mourning from those painful, fearful and unfaithful… the eyes of our hearts were shut from it, but it is knocking on our hearts now. Lord, you embrace the suffering and pain of the world and mourn with us. Lord, we pray that your pain can be heard into our hearts. We pray that your pain and mourning to save this world get closer to our hearts. We pray that we can see clearly your true hope and salvation that you are trying so hard to give to us.
We pray that we humble our exalted hearts and lift up our eyes to see you. We pray that heaven’s grace and hope will be poured into those in mourning who have their eyes fixed on you Lord.
We pray in the name of the Jesus who is our hope. Amen
